About Thewindupbird...

Hello there :)

I am a student of English from Slovenia. I love the idea of postcrossing because let's be honest, whose heart doesn't skip a beat every single time there is something waiting for you in the mailbox.

I'll be happy with absolutely anything you choose to send me but I always like people who are creative and have unique ideas. If you like to draw, I'll be more than happy if you draw me something. If you write poetry, write me one of your poems or just something you like from other people. If you like reading, choose a favorite quote of yours and write it on the postcard. If you're into photography, like me, you can turn one picture you took into a postcard and send it to me. If you like food and cooking send me a favorite recipe (if they are vegan or vegetarian, even better!).

I would also really appreciate it if you to tell me something about yourself: what do you like, some random facts maybe, your dreams, your thoughts, your wishes... Whatever you want. You can tell me about what kind of music you like, which is your favorite book or a movie. Your favorite quote, what little things make you happy, where's your favorite place... whatever you feel like writing

Here are some things that I like but you can choose something totally different and I will still be happy (as long as I get something).

~ books
~ animals
~ fantasy
~ Japan
~ sci-fi
~ tv shows
~ movies
~ anime
~ mystery and magic
~ 70's music and prog rock
~ odd and unusual things
~ art and photography
~ handmade cards

I also like mind puzzles so if you know a particularly interesting one please write it on the postcard :)

Oh and I would really like to know more about Japan. So if you happen to be from Japan, please tell me something about what's it like to live there, tell me something about the people, places or maybe traditions. Whatever you would like to, either way, I'll be more than happy :)
