Hello,
I am a socks manufacturer living and working in Melbourne. From 1992 until 2009 I was working for an Italian company, travelling to various countries installing sock knitting machines in factories. The best part of these travels was I very rarely visited the "tourist" areas of a country. So I got to meet the real people and experience the lifestyle of the place I was staying. Also I really enjoyed all the local foods and events I was invited to. Now that I am back home living in Melbourne I really miss having these experiences.
I would of course enjoy to receive all postcards but I would especially like one about your local foods or local traditions and cultural or sport events.
Also I have many other interests. for example beekeeping, textiles, chickens, anime, pathtags, geocaching, wood working and many other things.
