I am a scientist working for a research group at University. I love to receive real mail - the jewel in the dross of windowed envelopes and junk mail. If you are from a country that doesn't speak English, please include a salutation in your own language.

I also enjoy cooking, cross-stitch, scrap-booking, reading, bushwalking, swimming and doing agility training with my beautiful miniature schnauzer - not necessarily in that order.
I have just discovered Maximaphily. Maximaphily is a branch of philately, or stamp collecting, that means collecting maximum cards. Generally, a maximum card is a postcard, with a stamp and a postmark on the picture side. Ideally, all these 3 elements should be concordant (agreeing), but not identical.
