Hello Postcrossers

I am Lucie, from England, but I live in Spain.

I like all things kawaii - Studio Ghibli, Miffy, Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Moomins.
In contrast to this, I enjoy unusual and strange films - John Waters, Rob Zombie, Stanley Kubrick, Wes Craven, David Lynch and Japanese horror. I love cult classics and old 80s movies.

I love spicy food and hot sauces, any recipes will be greatly appreciated. I also love iconic food packaging, ecspecially on cans and tins!

My favorite artists are Frida Khalo, Fernando Botero, Tamara de Lempicka, Yuko Higuchi and Tsuguharu Foujita. I love revolutionary imagery/propaganda and adore images of post boxes or anything mail related. I like old advertising and posters of the circus or sideshows.

My music taste has always been before my years. I absolutely love David Bowie and lots of the classics, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Clash, Jim Hendrix. I'm fascinated by subcultures, it probably comes from growing up with punk and hippy influences from my parents, and spending my younger years in the rave scene.

I have traveled to nearly 40 countries and am always on the look out for new recommendations. Its so hard to pick a favourite but I am particularly drawn to the Americas, loving Latino and Caribbean celebrations, food and art.

After a trip to California, I am obsessed by retro American diners, road signs, shop signs, neon and motel signs.

We used to have a stripy greyhound and my boyfriend is always so happy if anyone manages to find a postcard with a greyhound on it (there doesn't seem to be many out there!).

Post is just the best. I'm open to all postcards - the cute, the weird and the wonderful. Any day with post is a good day.
