About Bats...
Hi there, I am The Bat, or Bats.
I like to be called this way and do not like my "real" name. For me, my real name is not what others had chosen for me, but the one I chose for myself.
I am genderfluid, which means I do not see myself as a person of a certain gender. I hope it is fine with you and you do not need to label my gender to send me a card.
I identify as European. I was born in Latvia, lived in the UK, and moved from Britain to Estonia in 2019, because I do not support Brexit. On June 16, 2021 my partner and I moved to Belgium and are happy to live in a truly multicultural and diverse city ever after. I work in IT and care about human rights. I like Gothic aesthetics and volunteered as a cemetery warden.
Please note that every postcard is very welcome. The postcards that will make my day:
- I love cemeteries and always visit them when travel, so cemetery cards are very appreciated!
- I love vultures, so if you have a card with a vulture, I'll be very happy to get one and it will make my day.
- bulldogs, pugs, bullteriers and pitbulls.
- IT related, especially cyber security and pentesting /hacking;
- I like dragons and art of St Michael killing the dragon (even if the dragon looks like a little lizard :));
- demons and satan;
- Marilyn Manson;
- warriors of all kinds;
- medieval art;
- coats of arms of cities and towns (sometimes they are so strange and exciting);
- robotics and robot (not the cute anime robots, but the real ones);
- space;
- planes (especially Eurofighter Typhoon and Vulcan), trains and ships.
- I also like owls and other birds, as well as dogs and cats.
- My partner is collecting cards with buttocks (backsides of people) and Hermes (an ancient Greek god), so such cards will be very much appreciated as well.
- I also love travelling and like map cards or touristic cards.
If you do not know what to write, just write a little about yourself, whatever you'd like to share, e.g., what makes you happy, what are your dreams or what you did today. I like to get a card with something written, it makes the card personal.
Have a very nice day and happy postcrossing!
