Hello! My name is Kate. I'm a translator with Chinese, English and Russian languages. I was looking for a hobby, and suddenly I found myself here, on postcrossing web-site. It seems to me that sending a postcard is like sharing a part of your own soul with others. I really like beautiful and creative cards, it's the best way to show people the world through your eyes. I like meeting new people and learning about their personalities, so I'm full into postcrossing.

Some facts about me:
I like chinese, japanese and asian culture, well I am really interested in all kinds of culture.
I like poetry and literature.
I like music of different styles, from rock and metal to classical music. I like instrumental music and ethnic music.
I like musicals and theater.
I like languages.
I watch art house and anime as well as many other films.
I like travelling, though I haven't been to many places yet.

I like absolutely all poscard, though there're some preferences:
- scenery, landscape (of your country, town or any)
- historic and modern buildings, monuments, sights, bridges, towers, cityviews
- nature of any kind (animals, birds, plants, etc.)
- especially DOGS, HORSES and PIGS
- art (any style, including anime, asian art, classical, modern, etc.)
- cards with words, quotations and mottos in it
- people
- odd, funny or just interesting postcardcards
- some symbolic images
- something magical above all
