About Qing...

Hi, my name is Qing. If you wanna hear how it sounds like:
It means pure and clear in Chinese.
I'm currently studying Linguistics in Pittsburgh, USA.
My hometown is Xiangtan in Hunan province, China. Btw, we have very spicy food there (I love it!).

💜All kinds of postcards are welcome, thank you for spending time writing me a postcard!
Lavender is my favorite plant. Do you think it's flower? I guess yes but in Chinese it's called a kind of grass lol.
If you send me a card of it, I will be very happy! (Don't feel bad if you don't have one, I am excited to read what you write!)
My avatar is a photo taken in 2018 summer when I visited Provence in France.
I prefer postcards without envelope. (I don't like to open envelopes or packages, weird;D)

💜A philosophical question if you would like to discuss with me: what do you think the meaning or purpose of life? Or what do you think we should focus on or enjoy in our life?
I'm at my 20's exploring the meaning of my life, and I realized Postcrossing could connect me with those amazing people with diverse cultural background and experiences. I'm eager to read your thoughts!

💜I lived in Switzerland (Kanton Zug) for one year (2017-2018) as an exchange student. I still try to practice my German. If you speak German, feel free to write the card in German!

02/21/2024 Some updates:
💜Advice from people: focus on what makes you happy and be kind.
I am happy when:
doing sports - running (plan to do my first Half Marathon in May), weight training, Pilates, and plan to learn surfing and archery in the summer.
painting - I wanted to be a fashion designer when I was a child but didn't remember why I quitted. I started to learn illustration design recently and hope to make them into postcards in the future (I am always greedy to find pretty cards!).
learning Sanskrit - my brain vacation.
sending beautiful postcards and hearing from people that I made their days.

💜Thank you for everyone who shared their thoughts and inspired me! Some of you sent me a kind message after checking my profile. I received your kindness! :)

💜New Question: I am very sensitive to other people's words and feelings. Like a coin has two sides, I can feel kindness easily, as well as unkindness. Although I understand the unkindness doesn't worth my attention, I cannot stop thinking about it. If you've had the same feeling, how do you deal with it?
