I am 31 years old and live in a beautiful city called Cape Town in South Africa. I am an Event Manager and work for the Children's Hospital Trust. We fundraise for the Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital. I love writing and was thrilled when I discovered Postcrossing. I grew up in a small town called Robertson which is well known for its wine and race horses.

I'm happy to receive any postcard you select, however I would love to receive postcards of the architecture, landscapes, culture, people, food and animals of your country. I do not wish to receive any crude, religious, nude or cruelty cards. Other cards I'd enjoy include Beatrix Potter, My Little Pony, Gummy Bears and Disney (the older Disney I.e. lady and the Tramp, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, aristocrats etc., not so much the latest Disneys) I would also appreciate it if you would put down a few words or phrases unique to your country or culture with a translation, pronounciation and definition. Example:

Vuvuzela [voo-voo-zeh-lah]: A large, colourful plastic trumpet with the sound of a foghorn, blown enthusiastically by virtually everyone in the crowd at soccer (football) matches. According to some, the word comes from the isiZulu for "making noise"

Please try avoid putting your postcard in an envelope unless you are adding something to your card.
