Hello friends,
I'm Wilma, feeling younger than I'm. But my body tells me the truth... But of course I'm curious about other people, how they are living and where. For my husband and me are the times over to go on a journey, thats why it is a good way with Postcrossing invite the world come here to us.

I like Rock, Blues and Country. too. I love to read books and writing with pen-friends.
I'm a fan of Stephen KIng, Bernard Cornwell, Rebecca Gable, Diana Gabaldon and so many others, who are writing thrilling.
And I like it to laughing, thats why I'm a fan of Terry Pratchett, too.
And Music? From Rolling Stones, Dire Straits and so on till Leonard Cohen...And so many others more. After my mood.
Gardening is my hobby and to drive with bicycle (still without an electric motor), but I like to watch some bloody series, too (G.O.T., Walking Dead, Vikings...), nevertheless I'm a peaceful human being.

I collect postcards since I've been young, an aunt of my mother -Tante Frieda- brought me to do this and to writing with pen-friends.
I'm living in a village near of Berlin, together with a dog named Laila and a cat, named Filou.
Unfortunately, my dear husband passed away in January 2023. I will not forget the good years and the many trips. We have a lot of children and grandchildren, because we were a so called patchwork-family since 1980.

I want to get cards without glitter and kitsch and no X-mas-cards, please. I love animals, but no snakes and spiders. I'm not a friend of childish cards. I would prefer to get view-cards of your country or area, because I can not see it in reality anymore.
Be so kind and write something about you, I'm very interested in to know, who likes this possibility to meet neat people on this "Postcrossing-Way". And please, do not fear my age! It is wonderful to be on the earth with so much interesting people!
In the moment I've got your adress, I try to fulfil your wishes and I'm so near to you for a while. May be, this is the best feeling , better than getting cards.
