About Tania...

Hello dear fellow postcrossers!

My name is Tania and I have my own account here. I created this account for my beloved grannies - Vera and Zoya. I want to surprise them and I need your help :)

My grannies are wonderful women - very caring, sensitive and full of love of life, but they were born and brought up, lived and worked in the USSR most part of their lives and have not seen the world. We can help them know it better together. What do you think? :)

Please, address the grannies directly in your postcard, but don't write their names. They live in different cities, so I'll collect postcards in 2 different boxes for them, the cards will be chosen randomly. Though if you prefer to address one of them by name - nothing wrong with that. Your postcard will go directly to the granny you choose :)

Write a few words about you, what's your life like, your hobbies, dreams, plans or give an explanation for the postcard you're sending, if it's anything specific. I want this big world become closer to the little worlds they're living in. I will translate all the cards for them (the translation will be printed and attached to every card).

Suggested subjects for the postcards I think they'll enjoy:

beautiful scenery of your country or any country you visited
important and beautiful landmarks
typical things for your country
traditional clothes
holiday greetings when a holiday is approaching

I would ask not to send multi-view postcards because of their poor eyesight, please.

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for taking part in my granny project!

Let's go ahead :)

P.S. I don't have a possibility to upload your postcards, so, if it's important for you, please, do it yourself before sending. Thank you for understanding.

Experience Ukraine!

Each of my grannies has already received around 100 postcards thanks to you and they really enjoyed it. I'm so happy for them! Thank you!
