About Tuija...

I'm thirty something, mum of three kids and work as an office manager. I'm very interested in foreign countries and cultures, that's why I've tried to learn many languages. It would be wonderful, if you could write in some other language than english - but no harm done, if you can't.

If possible, send me a card of your home town, city or country, or a hand made card. Also heads of your country, royal families, rock/pop artists/bands all the way from Elvis and Chuck Berry to today and famous actors are welcome. I use my Favourites wall as a wish list - these or similar cards I'd love to receive. But I like all cards I get!! It would also be nice if you told me how is it to live in your country.

I'd be really happy if you could send your card in an envelope (please, please, please...), and put a beautiful or special stamp(s) on it - I collect them. This is how I don't have to ruin your beautiful card to get the stamps to my collection! And, if you are a stamp collector, too, I'd be very happy to swap. Please note also, that I collect only stamps - not coins, banknotes, train tickets etc...

My dear fellow Postcrossers in the USA: please try to find some other stamp than the one with palm trees at sunset (Guam Beach?),sea view (St.John, U.S. Virgin Islands)and mountains and trees (Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming)... I have already dozens of those... please... I'd prefer also not to receive any more bicycle stamps from the Netherlands :) And here's a hint for all of you wondering what to do - you can use several smaller stamps to add up postage fee and make stamp collectors really happy!!

In December Christmas cards with a greeting in your own language are very much welcome and so are Easter cards during Easter time, and every other holiday cards, too! Another hint: my birthday is in August :)
