Hi there! My name is Kostya (Konstantin), i'm 22 y.o. and I currently study at Moscow State University in department of biology. Previously I used to work as a postman at one of the post offices in Moscow as well and I still work there sometimes for extra cash if my help is needed. It pleased me every time when instead of soulless ads and notifications I received postcards from all over the world to my district where I delivered the post. So that's why I've also decided to take part in this project.

In addition I have lots of hobbies like birdwatching, cycling, ice-skating traveling, cooking different dishes, reading ect. As an internationalist I am fond of languages and other cultures, so via Postcrossing I feel closer to the rest of the world.

I consider myself first of all as a biologist, but I am also interested in many other subjects like history, linguistics, geography, chemistry and I put all my efforts to be as versatile as I can. So I will be really glad if you share some special knowledges with me :)

FOR GERMAN POSTCROSSERS: Vor kurzem habe ich ein hervorragendes Buch von Hansjörg Küster "Geschichte des Waldes" gelesen, das vorwiegend über den deutschen Wald erzählt und verschiedene kulturelle, wirtschaftliche, botanische und politische Aspekte umfasst. Deshalb möchte ich eine soziologische Umfrage arrangieren: Welche Rolle spielt der Wald in eurem Leben? In der Geschichte Deutschlands? Welche Legende, Gedichte, Märchen über den Wald kennen Sie? Diese Information kann sehr nützlich für mein zukünftiges Referat sein! Mich interessiert eure ehrliche Meinungen!
