I live in the South of Russia - in the city Rostov-on-Don. As I'm going to postcross on behalf of my family I'd like to write about hobies and preferences of each members of our small family community. My name is Marina. I’m fond of England, English literature, English Queen and court. So I’ll be happy to get postcards marked “To Marina” with views and sights of English cities and villages; portraits of Her Majesty Elizabeth the Second and the court; also portraits of English writers and their heroes (especially Agatha Christie and her Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple; Arthur Conan Doyle and his Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson; Jeeves and Wooster and their author P.G. Woodhouse). Maybe you have your own king or queen in the country? I will be happy to receive a postcard with his portrait!
My husband’s name is Igor. He’s found of sailing and like to travel too much. So he is dreaming to get cards marked “To Igor” with different types of sailing ships, sailing vessels and rowing boats and also with views and sights of Your native place (city, town, village, castles, buildings), or postcards with photographs of famous historical personalities (kings, politicians, writers, poets, philosophers, scientists, military commanders).
My 10 years old son’s name is Kirill. He takes a great interest in history of battles, wars, weapons, warriors of different nations and period. And also he’s a fan of the film “Star Wars”. He will be very grateful if you’ll send him postcards marked “To Kirill” with any hero of “Star Wars” film and with pictures of any historical battles, wars, weapons (tanks, airplanes, warships, guns) and warriors (it can be Indians, knights, gladiators, soldiers of any armies in uniform). We also will be very glad to meet new friends all over the world, to practice our English and to satisfy your interests and hobbies.
