I am a master planner and a self-professed book dragon. Working in higher education and marketing for over 10 years, I have successfully planned and launched hundreds of calling and email marketing campaigns to students around the world. On computers since 1983, I love seeking out and learning new technology and sharing her knowledge with others.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and reviewing books for my blog, Second Run Reviews, and the Cedar Rapids Gazette. I volunteer for ICON, Iowa's longest running science-fiction and fantasy convention, and am one of the lead organizers for Imagine Other Worlds with Authors, a multi-genre author-signing event. When not absorbed in the world of books, I can be found riding horses, shooting pictures, and spending time watching movies with my husband while cuddling with my two cats.

My interests (in a nutshell): reading and books, coffee, wine, Disney (Sleeping Beauty is my favorite), old Hollywood (think black & white, musicals, Audrey Hepburn), Outlander, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Downton Abbey, Supernatural, Hamilton.

I have a goal of traveling to France, specifically Paris, next year. Send me your travel tips! I haven't traveled overseas since 1999.
