About Theo...

Hi there,

thanks for reading my profile...

About me:
I'm Theo (born in 1957) and living in Lommel (a city of 35000 inhabitants in the northeast of Belgium).
Married, father of a son and daughter, grandfather of a granddaughter (october '09) and 2 grandsons (july '13 & december '15).
I love to travel.
Have a look at my travelled map: http://www.travbuddy.com/maps/6489729
I'm a frequent theater visitor (music (lots of styles), comedy and most of all percussion).
As outdoor occupation I love long distance walking (30 - 50 km) and combine walking with holidays/travelling.
I collect postcards with a goal to become a card of each country in the world (I use the CIA-list of countries and regions: https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/).

About postcards I would love to receive.
I prefer single view cards:
- city view
- chapel, church, cathedral, abbey, monastery, temple, mosque
- railway station
- lighthouse
- wind- or watermill
- harbour
- monument, statue
- bridge
- ruin
- Unesco World Heritage Site
- special building or construction
- ...
and if possible, a night view of the items listed.
Love to get my card with beautiful (real) stamp(s) and without envelope, thanks!
Please date the card.
If possible a standard (European) size (≈10 x ≈15 cm / ≈4 x ≈6 inch), the larger sizes don't fit in my drawers...
The cards in my favorite wall are cards that I already have received, so please don't sent them again.

If you don't know what to write: just tell me why you picked that card for me...

Please don't sent me:
- Christmas/New Year/Easter cards
- ads or free cards
- handmade cards
- animals
- art cards
- selfprinted or ordered prints
- Touchnote (or similar services) cards

Thanks for respecting my wishes.
I always try to find a 'match' on the receiver's wish list...
