About LaShell...

Hi! I'm La Shell. I'm 39 years old and live in the state of Texas in the United States. I am a former flute and piccolo player for the US Army. I am married and have a son in university. We have two dogs and three cats.

Where I live: I live in central Texas. The weather here is usually hot and dry in the summer (95F/35-37C), and very mild in the winter (50F/10C). We don't usually get snow or freezing temperatures. We also don't get too much rain. What is the weather like where you live?

Hobbies: I love PC (computer) games, console games, board games, drawing, coloring, and painting my nails. I used to quilt, but I don't have the time anymore. I also love to sing. What are your hobbies? Do we share one?

Things I love: Right now, I really love anime. I watch as much as I can. I also enjoy manga. I also love to read science fiction and fantasy. One of my favorite books is Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut. I love all things nerdy like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Stranger Things...the list is endless.

Language: I am only fluent in English. I took four years of Spanish in school, but am terrible at it. I am currently trying to learn Japanese. I would love you to teach me a phrase in your native language! Just make sure to translate it for me!

I honestly would be happy with any postcard aside from advertisements. Should you want to send something you think I might like, I would be very happy with:
Anime/Manga
Animals (In love with llamas, alpacas, baby goats, and pandas)
Something teaching me about your culture
Sunsets/Sunrises in your country
Hello Kitty
Pusheen
Cherry Blossoms
Pretty Landscapes
Anything Japanese
Pick something you like and tell me why you like it
Food. I love pretty pictures of food.

I really look forward to your postcard! I also love stickers! The cuter, the better! But, I honestly will be happy with anything. Also, the US applies barcodes on the bottom of your postcards. Please put your postcrossing ID at the top of the card or at least 1/4 inch from the bottom edge. Thank you!
