Hello lovely person reading this. My name is Raisa and I was born and raised on a tiny Dutch island in the Caribbean called Curaçao. I've been living in Amsterdam since 2013 and love it so much. If you haven't been, then please do visit.

I studied business, but have fallen in-love with customer service and work as a service expert in a bank. Making people smile is what I do best. This is also why I joined this postcard club. I love receiving physical mail and love sending it back to my loved ones. Usually randomly throughout the year. You can write in English, Dutch, Papiamentu Spanish and even German as I'm learning. I've fallen in love with Frankfurt, hence why I'm learning German because I'd love to move there in the future.

My hobbies are cooking, baking, traveling and I love to read. Although I never know which books are good, so I always go by recommendation of others. So if you can recommend any good books, then please do. I love everything that's quirky and am a very curious person. So it would be nice to learn about your culture. It could also be a random fact about the city or country you live in or are from or any random fact about anything in the world. For example, did you know that the city of Amsterdam stands on 11 million poles or did you know that the unicorn is the national animal of Scotland? Yup, that's right! I also love poetry. Two of my favorite poets are Rupi Kaur and Rudy Francisco. So poems are also welcome. I'm also a hopeless romantic. If you're also vegan, or perhaps vegetarian, then you can also include your favorite recipe. I always love to try new things. Especially cake or tips on how to bake pizza dough, because I keep failing and basically gave up.

I'd love to receive any type of postcard. It can be funny, gorgeous and full of flowers, "greetings from...", vintage cards, nature and animals...or whatever your heart fancies.
