Sorry I took such a long break. This time it was due to my health. I hope to slowly work my way back into regular exchanges.
I am a paper artist. I make cards, books and pretty much anything out of paper. I sometimes make the paper I use for my creations. Paper is my hobby as well as my passion. Texture, color and even the smell excites me.
When I signed with Post Crossing I planned to make all sorts of postcards to sent out. Since I am retired, I have plenty of time to create. However I find more and more people putting "No handmade cards" on their profiles.
For those who do not like handcrafted cards I have a number of postcards depicting US postage from the 1990's (Before the Forever Stamp became popular) that I inherited from my Mom. I have decided to share these. She would approve.
As for what you to send me;
I would very much like handmade cards. (any subject, any media)
I also like *altered cards.
*cards used before and collaged or painted or otherwise added to before being sent out again. (recycled cards)
Anything with horses. The Derby is a big thing here and you see horses everywhere.
Cats, frogs, flowers (if it is a unique flower from your country, all the better)
If you have none of the above pretty much anything will do. I like the variety I get through here.
Post Crossing is a hard lesson in patience. That time between sending and delivery seems to go on forever.
Hope to see a card from you real soon.
