About Susannah...

Hello, I have always loved geography and travelling and sadly don't do the latter as much as I would like these days. So to see the world, these are some of my favourite cards to receive -

maps, flags, subway maps
cityscapes, famous buildings or monuments
city/state/country parliament/government buidlings
local schools, universities, sports stadiums
local Chinatowns
landscapes and nature, state/local flowers
birds, ( <3 the "Fauna of Belarus" series)
sheeps, rams
Royalty of your country
traditional costumes, festivals, events
Lunar New Year, the zodiac (especially Scorpio)
Christmas ornaments, Easter eggs (at anytime of the year)
stained glass windows
Floral clocks
signed cards from Postcrossing meet-ups
anything to do with the Olympic Games
anything to do with alphabets/letters, especially the initials S T M W
anything to do with Lego (please no self printed cards with your creations :) )
Hello Kitty

I also LOVE your typical tourist card, especially multi-views.

2015 is The Year of the Sheep/Goat in the Chinese Zodiac. This is my sign!!!! I would truly appreciate any special commemorative stamps (or cards) your country might issue. A very special thank you in advance :)

Things I am not so fond of - cartoon type cards, homemade, animal cards (other than birds or sheeps) and "non-cards" (ie. made from a cereal box). Your own photography printed is very much appreciated. Ad-cards if they meet one of my preferences are OK too. I prefer the card to be from the country you live in not from your travels. And lastly, please NO envelopes :) Hope I don't sound picky, I really am easy to please :)

As to what to write - if you like tell me a bit about yourself - favourite cookie or snack, what you have done so far today, what your ideal day would be, favourite quote, last meal you cooked, if you were an animal what would you be and why - you name it make me smile !!!

Please no state maps from the US as my collection is complete - thank you to all who helped :)
Members from Taiwan, please no maps or flags - I have several from your country - thanks :)

I also love bird stamps, Postcrossing stamps and Christmas stamps at any time of the year.

Looking forward to seeing your corner of the world,

Susannah

P.S. I usually write my address upside down at the bottom of each card. It is not intended to have you send me a card, I put it there in the hopes that if undelivered the card would be returned to me as opposed to being expired. Wishful thinking maybe :)

With the dramatic increase in Canadian postage I have had to cut-back on my private swaps. If you are interested please give me more info on what you have to offer, links to albums, etc, otherwise chances are I will have to decline. Thank you for understanding.
