About Stefan...

Hi out there,

my name is Stefan and I live in Schwetzingen, a small town close to Heidelberg in Southern Germany. I am in the middle of my 50s and work as an IT specialist in a big company.

I like travelling - especially to Africa (as you can see in my Avatar) but I have also been to Asia, North and South America (and of course Europe). My other hobbies are sport (esp. biking and jogging), going to concerts (mainly hard rock and metal), reading, meeting my friends and, of course, Postcrossing.

I am happy about every postcard but a little bit more happy I am about:

+ first of all I collect postcards from all capital cities in the world. If one of them is your hometown or you live close to it please choose a card with a panoramic or arial view or with the skyline.
+ breathtaking landscapes
+ interesting, famous or remarkable views of your hometown
+ UNESCO world heritage (cultural and nature)
+ lighthouses
+ tradition and culture of your country
+ flags or heraldic pictures of your country, state or town
+ Maximum cards (postcard and stamp show the same topic)
+ football (and other sport) stadiums
+ Marlene Dietrich, Ingrid Bergman and other glamorous actresses of the black and white movie era
+ Netherlands: pictures of windmills, cows on the meadow, the shore, [and lekker Meisjes ;-)] are highly appreciated. And sorry for that cliché.
+ Belarus: I collect "Fauna of Belarus". Please have a look in my Favorites, which ones are still missing in my collection.
+ Japan: 36 views from Mt. Fuji by Hokusai
+ Moscow: I love the "Seven Sisters" (ALL of them!)
+ Greetings from (Postallove)

And of course there are some cards that you better save for other members because they might be happier about them than me:

- Ad cards, self made cards, cute or funny cards, comics, seasons greetings, paintings or other art not from national artists
- please don´t send cards from other countries than your own (for example: if you live in France please don´t take a card from Italy).

Please no envelope (if possible) and please use some nice stamps. Please don´t write "Germany" in the address, use the version of your language instead.

Thanks for reading this long text and for surprising me with your ideas.

Happy Postcrossing!

Stefan

PS: Don´t be disappointed if you don´t find your postcard in my favorites. There I only add cards, that I like to receive and still don´t have.

PPS: I am not looking for penpals but if you like to travel, too, I would really love to swap Holiday Cards with you.
