About Laura...

Howdy from Texas!
My name is Laura & I live in Austin, the Capitol of Texas with my husband and two elementary-aged sons. I love learning more about the world we live in and Postcrossing is the perfect way.

I like all types of postcards, but I really love traditional tourist postcards depicting your region's:
travel advertising (especially vintage/retro style)
National (or state) park
sightseeing views (with name)
landmarks (lighthouses, bridges, etc)
architecture (churches, cathedrals, castles, etc)
culture (native people, food & craft)
monarchy/royal family
Holiday cards during the holidays (dia de los muertos at any time!)
Pandas (my son Jordy's favorite animal)
Sports Stadiums/ teams (for my husband Taylor)
Handmade cards

Please include a message in your native language and any special facts about your country/state/city are welcome. If you can, I would love for you to include a ticket stub, sticker, little drawing, washi tape, coin, "squished" penny, newspaper clipping, or any little token or special tidbit. That would make my day! :) I prefer stamped postcards without envelopes, however if you are sending me a little special tidbit feel free to place it and the postcard in an envelope to ensure safe travels. ;)

I have been lucky enough to travel to many different countries in my lifetime, but hope to see many more with my husband and sons. The countries I have visited are: Austria, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Belize (where I got married), Canada, China (Hong Kong), Costa Rica, Cuba, England, France, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland and Vatican City.

Please know that ANY card you choose to send will be appreciated! I look forward to your postcard!
