I'm Sylvia, a 47-year-old housewife and former middle-school teacher for English and history. I live in a mountain village in Tyrol with my partner but I also spend a lot of time in Lower Austria, where I grew up. My hobbies include pen palling, reading, collecting (postcards and foreign currency), family research, hiking and taking photos. I'm a huge animal lover and I've always been fascinated by history and by foreign countries.

• beautiful nature + wildlife, pretty sceneries, trees, wild flowers, bodies of water, mountains, rocks, beaches, weather related …
• something typical from a country: landmarks, animals, plants, symbols, maps, coats of arms, food, recipes, costumes, culture, traditions, colourful street scenes, holidays …
• historical sights (EXCEPT interior views), graveyards, abandoned places
