About Sofya...

My name is Sofya.

I live in Russia in the city of Izhevsk. You probably do not know this city. But you definitely need to know about the Kalashnikov Automaton, because this is the most popular model of the machine in the world. Its creator lived in Izhevsk. Do you know who won first place at the 2018 Olympics in Korea in figure skating? Alina Zagitova, and she, too, from Izhevsk. Perhaps you've heard about Galina Kulakova - 4-times Olympic champion, 9-times world champion, winner of the World Cup, 39-time champion of the USSR.And she, too, from Izhevsk. And that is not all! In Izhevsk, a lot of famous people grew up, not only in Russia, but all over the world.

My hobby is gardening. But unfortunately, the summer we have a short, so I have to grow plants in the greenhouse)I even managed to grow a real watermelon!
I also love animals. I have a dog and fishes.I dream to have a mini pig. I think the pigs are very cute and funny.
I enjoy reading books. I like to read a book first and then watch a movie based on that book. I like books in the style of realism. Adventure, romance or a historical book (but not particularly brainwashing). I also like detective stories for a change (I like the book of Agatha Christie "The Killing of Roger Aroyd"). But my favorite book lately is "Miserables".

I like:
- What fruit or vegetable do you think symbolizes your country? Send me a postcard with this, I will be very interested.
- Pigs,wild boars
- Views of your city
- Retro images especially photos with girls and womens of the 19th century (not erotic and not creepy please)
- Retro cars
- Sea inhabitants
- Paintings painted by artists from your country
- People in your national costumes
- Bumblebees, butterflies, bees and any insects except for spiders and praying mantis in flowers (insects with plants)
I collect stamps. I especially love postage stamps with retro cars, pigs and peoples in national costumes.

Write the address by hand and write one sentence in your native language.I will be very pleased.

If you do not know what to write in a postcard, then you can selectively answer these questions:
- Do you know a legend about your city ?
- What is your favorite song?
- What are your favorite movies or series?
- What are your favorite books?
- What interesting things can you tell about the city or villagee there you live?
- What famous person from your country do you admire?
- It will be very interesting to listen to the story about your pet.

I'm happy to get any postcard!
Happy Postcrossing!
