Snowyegret

I am a retired bookseller and teacher (of English and English Literature). I live with my wife in St. Paul, the capital of the State of Minnesota, a small pleasant city on the Mississippi River. My hobbies include birdwatching and travel. I have visited Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway and Italy in Europe, and also Brazil, South Africa, and in the Western Hemisphere, the Bahamas. Puerto Rico, Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Molossia. At present, I am trying to visit every county in the United States; there are 3142 in total, and I have been to more than 2300 of them. I am also compiling a list of something interesting (broadly defined) to see or do in every county. This is easy for a state like California, but very hard for a state like North Dakota. My hobby keeps me busy!

I would be glad to be surprised by any kind of postcard, but would especially appreciate cards related to public transportation (not personal automobiles): trains, light rail, buses, trolleys, trams, cog railways, ferries, subways/metros, taxis, tuk-tuks, etc etc.
