Dear postcrossing friends,
originally, I started this pleasing activity because of simple reason: as a father of two children I wanted to motivate them to practice their English. Therefore I provided a leading example to help them with their own postcrossing activities. However, I was captivated, too.

About myself?
- I do not collect postcards
- I do not collect stamps
- I collect experiences and friendships instead
- I live with my family and pets in a small town in the north-west of Czechia, at the foot of Ore Mountains
- I´m biologist by education and work for pharma company in a beautiful capital of Czech Republic, historical city of Prague
- I enjoy all outdoor activities, mainly hiking, biking, skiing and ferrata-climbing (as you can see, I simply love mountains ;-) )
- I play guitar and listen to (almost) all kind of music – preferred rock, folk, jazz and blues (as all American guitar blues fans can very easily decipher from my avatar name)
- I love to travel and explore new places

What else?
- Good food and wine? Czech beer? Football? Charles Bukowski? Roald Dahl? Oh, yeees..!!
- Violence? Discrimination? Dictatorships? Oh, nooo..!!

Don´t hesitate to write me a postcard in your own language! Even if I don´t understand, I´ll enjoy (if readable) the effort of translation!
As I´m trying to learn French, I appreciate especially cards in French to practice.. ;-)
