About 𝚅𝚒𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚕𝚊𝚟...

🇺🇦𝚂𝙻𝙰𝚅𝙰 𝚄𝙺𝚁𝙰𝙸𝙽𝙸!🇪🇺
Dear friends from all over the world!
My name is Viacheslav, sometimes I am simply called Slavik or Slava. I live in Belarus, in a village near the small town of Lepel. Lepel is located in the Vitebsk region, which is often called the lake region of Belarus. I am a Belarusian who was born in St Petersburg, Russia. Since I have Belarusian roots, as a child I went to Belarus for a summer vacation with my family (mom, dad, grandparents), to the house where I now live. We drove by car, each time we drove about 700 km (this is about 12 hours, considering the border crossing). I went to school in St Petersburg. In 2021, I graduated from school, and without hesitation went to my historical homeland — Belarus. At school I studied various subjects, including English. I studied English for nine years, but I don't understand a word of it to this day. I don't even try to read any messages on postcards in English. I had a very bad English teacher who literally bullied the students. There was also a class teacher who often exceeded her official authority. Despite the fact that I did not study the Belarusian language, because I studied at school in Russia, I still speak Belarusian fluently. I also fully understand Ukrainian, as it is very similar to Belarusian.
I found out about Postcrossing quite by accident, I read somewhere on the Internet that there is such a wonderful site that allows you to exchange postcards with people around the world. Then it was 2020, I was still living in Russia. And one day I decided to try Postcrossing. I really liked it, and I decided to continue doing it. My favorite hobby, perhaps, is photographing nature. I live in a very beautiful place, on the shore of a lake called Lepelskae. And since we have beautiful nature, I have loved photographing it since I was a child. I also like to ride a motorcycle. And in the near future I want to learn how to drive a car, and get a driver's license of category "B".
I used to love watching Hollywood action movies, but now I like Russian detectives more.
I prefer the following postcards:
• The nature of your country 🏔️
• Animals of your country 🦓
• Types of cities in your country 🏙️
• Castles, temples, palaces, etc. 🏰
• Everything related to the culture and history of your country ⛪️
• Lakes 🏞️
• Sunsets, sunrises, landscapes, etc. 🌅
• Ukrainian theme 🇺🇦
If you do not have the postcards that I wrote above, then you can send any other postcard, at your discretion.

I don’t read messages written in English, and I don’t even try to translate them. If you want me to read your message, then please write to me in Russian, using Google translator, or any other Internet translator convenient for you. I am very grateful for the messages written in Russian. If you find it difficult to write in Cyrillic, you can write in Russian in Latin letters. In turn, I always write to recipients in their native languages. Thank you!
