My name is Jeanne. I live in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Some special things of Eindhoven are;

-Philips factory. It was founded in Eindhoven in 1891, manufacturing the incandescent lamps, from the production by hand of carbon-filament lamps in 1891 to beginning of their mechanisation in the nineteen-twenties. It is still a big
company

-PSV football, always in competition with AJAX (Amsterdam) and Feijenoord ( Rotterdam). PSV means; Philips Sport Vereniging

-The van Abbe museum.Van Abbemuseum is a museum of modern and contemporary art located in central Eindhoven, Netherlands, on the east bank of the Dommel river. Established in 1936, the Abbe Museum is named after its founder, Abbe Henri. Abbe was a lover of modern art and wanted to enjoy it there from Eindhoven. As of 2010 the collection of the museum houses more than 2700 works of art, of which about 1000 are on paper, are 700 paintings, and 1000 are sculptures, installations and video work.

With an area of 9,825 m2, monument number 507030, the museum holds one of the largest collections of paintings in the world by El Lissitzky. It also has works by Pablo Picasso and Wassily Kandinsky

My favorite city in the Netherlands is Amsterdam, because it is a beautyfull city. My favorate place is the sea, Noordzee. I like to walk on the beach and hear the sea.

I have a cat named Annabel. She is an orphan and has some trouble to act like a cat. Because of that we love her even more.

I like this postcrossing project because i like to recieve postcards from all over the world.
I read on the internet about the places i sent en recieve postcards. So i learn something about the world.
I like to recieve cards about yout country or city you live.
Some idea;
- old advertising posters
- maps;
- national recipes;
- nature, national parks, landscapes;
- rivers, lakes, seas, oceans;
- castles, royal palaces, monuments, bridges;
- people/dolls in traditional costumes;
- members of your Royal Family;
- famous statesmen or political figures of your country
- cards telling something about your country (for example, national traditions, holidays, dances, food and drinks and so on, in short, all that is typical for your country).

But i am thankfull for all cards.
