I'm 49, married, and live in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. I'm an avid reader, knitter and traveller. I have a job that I love, that also allows me to travel to interesting places, usually somewhere in Africa - I've been to 12 African countries to date. I love to learn - I'm currently taking several courses on Coursera.org

- sunrise/sunset/the moon
- cultural events/festivals
- traditional costumes/folklore/traditions
- art, especially folk art and indigenous art
- crafts, especially fibre-related ones
- insects/spiders/reptiles/amphibians
- under the sea
- astronomy
- food
- sunflowers
- Nouvelles Images multiples
- anything with bold, vibrant colours, especially reds and oranges
- whatever is interesting/special/iconic about where you live

Or send me something you'd like to receive. Maybe I'll discover something new to love! Though I'd prefer not to receive ad cards (unless they fit one of the above categories), homemade cards (unless professional quality) or cutesy images.

I prefer my cards written, dated and stamped.

I'm open to swaps for particular cards, but please contact me through the forums (I'm also Sionnan over there). I'm not interested in swaps for things other than postcards.
