Hello, Postcrossers! I’m Simone, guardian to Schuster, the beloved Boston Terrier in my avatar. I've had pets my entire life but I've never experienced as devoted a dog companion as Schu. We live with my husband and a rescued mink Tonkinese cat near Dallas, Texas.

I find images are intriguing in light and shadows...so, like Schuster’s fur, my postcard preference is anything in *BLACK & WHITE.* However, if you have no B&W cards, just choose a subject from my preference list. Please NO spiders, apes/monkeys

B&W illustrations, art; graphics/patterns
B&W photography (fashion, bridges, light houses, nature, portraits)
B&W vintage or retro (teddy bears, typewriters, cameras, trolleys)
B&W type/font, quotes
B&W handmade cards if you’re artistically inclined
B&W dogs or cats--or any animal
B&W scenic views-- preferably NO city view unless B/W
B&W New York City or San Francisco are especially desired

What makes postcards so delightful is not only the image side, but discovering a little something about the sender. Feel free to share about any pets you have--or a favorite pet from childhood. Interesting/special stamps are always a treat. :-)
