My name is Sina, I'm 25 years old and I live in Heidelberg, a city in the southwest of Germany, where I'm doing my master degree in Economics at the university. Here I live together in a shared flat with two other students and we enjoy all incoming postcards :)
In my free time I I like to cook with my flat mates, do sports like swimming, yoga, climbing,..., or do handcrafts. And of course I love traveling, it's a great pleasure to discover new places and cultures. Also I'm very interested in art, I love to visit art museums around the world.
I will be happy about any postcard and enjoy all the little surprises in my mailbox :) But if you need an idea, here are some suggestions. You can also have a look at my favourite wall to see which style of cards I like (there are both, cards I received and I would love to receive).
*any art (paintings and drawings, but as well sculptures, ...)- from the ancient world over impressionism to modern illustration. It doesn't matter if its a work from a famous artist or a rather unknown, local one. There are so many great art works in the world, and I enjoy the little postcard- art gallery growing at my wall :-)
*sweets (cookies, cakes, ice cream ...), tea / coffee pots and cups,... - all these cards receive a special place in our kitchen to decorate our walls :-)
*illustrated/ painted animals- all kind of animals, cute or funny, ... For example I love the cards of cats/cows/... doing yoga (and looking better than me)
*painted flowers, floral prints
*nature, e.g. sunsets, beautiful landscapes,beaches/seasides, waterfalls
*bicycles with flowers around
*Everything connected to Postcrossing: typewriters, letterpress printing, letters, postboxes, Meeting-cards, ...
*Mila Marquis/ Nina Chen and similar
*vintage prints, vintage travel/ad/... posters
*If you want to send me a card from your city, I would love to get aquarell/ watercolour painted city views or historic black & white cards. And I prefer single- to multiview cards.
*Or just get inspired by the time of the year:
... in spring: spring flowers, dew, blooming trees
...in summer: colorful summer flowers, ice cream, swimming/ swimming pools, picnic
...in autumn: fruits, berries, mushrooms, indian summer, pumpkins
...in winter: snow, snowmen, christmas cards
There are so many amazing cards out there, the list can be endless... But please send me no cards showing any type of violence/ arms/ religion/ political issues/ erotics & nude people/... and no ad cards. We are a multicultural flat shared with guests from all over the world and I don't want anyone to feel offended by incoming cards which I share with my flatmates. Thanks for your understanding.
I'm happy to recieve your postcard :)
Greetings from Germany and happy Postcrossing!
