I am 68 years old, and live in a small rural village in the beautiful highlands of Scotland, close to Cawdor Castle & Kilravock Castle. We have the town of Nairn and the city of Inverness close by.

I enjoy spending most of my time with my family and I worked part time for the NHS.

I enjoy reading, knitting, sewing, music and handicrafts.

I really enjoy travelling and have visited most of Europe, also the Mediterranean and Singapore, Malaysia.

I love Christmas Markets and have visited several markets in Germany, Austria, Belgium, England and Scotland.

I enjoy writing to other people by post because it is a lovely way to communicate and writing postcards helps keep this way of communicating alive, as most people communicate via text, email, and social media web sites.

I would like any type of card as long as they are interesting.

But I do love fairies.......or fairy tale illustrations.

Childrens book illustrations.

Anything to do with Christmas and Santa Claus ( because I love visiting Christmas Markets).

I also like vintage style cards.

Also Christmas, winter, autumn, summer, spring or Easter scenes, and water colours.

Cards of cites or whatever you decide to send would be very acceptable and I would just be happy to receive them.

I do not mind what you write but I would be happy to hear about you or where you live or your culture etc.
