Although I work with computers and technology I feel we have lost something from our humanity. The joy and purity of film photographs, live musical instruments, and postcards is so foreign to so many of us. Too often we become caught up with the machines' instant gratification, losing sight that technology should be an extension of ourselves and to the betterment of our lives.

Please send picture postcards of interesting places near you or in your country. It's fun to dream about visiting these places and learn about what is unknown to tourists - the unique and interesting that only local knowledge can reveal.

But otherwise I would be happy with and grateful for any postcard you would like to send. And, of course, tell me about yourself. The fun of PostCrossing is learning about other cultures and looking for cards to send out.

Please, no ads or envelopes. Don't act like a machine - make it personal by handwriting your message and the date.
