About Siletol...

I am Liselot, I'm 29 and I live in Belgium.
I live together with my boyfriend, our son Seth, our turtles Ernest & Oscar and our cats Lou & Humphrey.

For a living, I upcycle vintage furniture and other objects, I make snail mail kits and I handletter and design cards/invites/... on demand.
In my spare time I listen to all kinds of music, watch movies and series (Game of Thrones, Call the Midwife, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,...) or read a lot of books, mainly thrillers and detectives.

My other interests are Harry Potter, the work of Tim Burton, art (my favourite painters/illustrators are Edgar Degas, Salvador Dali, Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Benjamin Lacombe & Mark Ryden), dancing (especially ballet), bullet journaling and of course all things vintage. I'm crazy about the Golden Age of Hollywood and everything else that happened between the 20's and the 60's: the actors, the pin-up girls, the fashion, the cars, the music,..

I'm a little bit obsessed with Alice in Wonderland. It is my absolute favourite book and I collect the books in every language or edition possible. My collection also includes lots of other Alice-stuff such as teacups, prints, movies, artwork,...

I look forward to receiving your postcard. You can send me any card you like, I have absolutely no requests and I will love it no matter what! What to write? Whatever you want! Tell me something about yourself or your country, draw something, teach me something in your language, recommend a book or movie you like, give a nice quote, a recipe,...
Just don't forget to add the date, please.

Happy postcrossing!

(PS: My best friend, Evelien, is getting married to her fiancé Benjamin in 2020 and I want to surprise them with wishes on postcards from all over the world. So if you have a love/wedding/...-themed postcard to spare or if you know anyone who would like to participate in this, could you please write a nice message on it for them and mail it to me as an extra or in an envelope (to save you an extra stamp)? I hope to collect as many postcards as possible in the year to come. Thank you!)
