About Sean...

* this user does not support the 2023-2024 war in Gaza, and strongly advocates for ceasefire, and sends condolences to mourning families, from both sides of the wall *

Hello! I'm Sean.
I am an 18 year old teenager from Israel-Palestine. I love to read books, play Tennis, and chat with friends.
Not long ao, I discovered my love for Postage Stamps, and Mail! Ever since then, I try to use the postal service in my country as much as I can, even sending letters to friends! (which usually people think its weird but I cherish it so much).
My favorite foods are probably Ice cream,Spaghetti and Fried Chicken. Honestly, I think I can eat those things for the rest of my life and not get bored. I like Pizza too!
I live in the city of Haifa, in the north of my country. Haifa is such a great city. It's located on the Haifa Bay, close to the Mediterranean sea. This city is known by Israelis as "the city where time had stopped in the 1980s" because the vibe here is so relaxed, and not hurrying like for example in infamous Tel-Aviv. Haifa just got it's own vibe, y'know? Most of the people who live here spend their summer by the sea, including me! Being Haifan and not knowing to swim is a big shame haha. The weather here is really comfortable. Summer starts at May-June and ends on October! Then Fall is November, Winter is December - March and the rest is Spring. Temperatures here are usually in the summers about 30C, in the Winter 15-20C, and in the rest about 25C, more or less.

My favorite themes of postcards include:
- Civil Transportation (Buses, Planes, Ocean Liners, Trams etc..)
- Communist Nostalgia (If your country has/had a communist past, I love the aesthetic)
- Postcards that have a picture of your city! - my favorite are personal local postcards that tell me about your place, feel free to send.
- Flowers and Greens
- Architecture (preferably not touristy landmarks)
- LGBTQ

** no matter what postcard you will send I will love it and appreciate, don't feel bad if you don't have a postcard that fits my preferences :)
*** about envelopes that contain the postcard or a letter or a memorabilia attached, I don't mind getting those, feel free!
**** I love Postage Stamps, so I'd love you to pick your fav design or a stamp that represents your country, that would be lovely <3

another note: if you are planning/wanting to send me a postcard written in Russian, please use written alphabet and now handwriting, as it's very difficult for me to understand handwriting in my 3rd language

I will be truly greatfull if you send your postcard in an envelope that you will add to it something miscellaneous from your daily life in your country. For example: Transportation tickets, stickers, bookmark, stamp, a takeout menu etc.. It would be wonderful. :)

I can't wait to make friends here! (and exchanging Postcards of course) :)
