Hi, my name is Olena. I participate in Postcrossing with my 8-year old son Damian. We select the cards together, he adds stamps, he writes the note, and he drops the card into the mailbox. Then we wait for the next card to come to us.

I think Postcrossing is a great way to learn Geography. Please send us cards that tell us about the places where you live or where you like to travel: city views, sightseeing, nature, etc. We might come and visit it someday :)

If you want to send something specifically for Damian, he likes:
Pirates (specifically from Pirates of the Caribean)
Gaming
Harry Potter

For every card we get, we place a pin on the world map in Damian's room. Then we put the card in the album. We like to go through all the cards we get from time to time.

We also collect stamps about places, people, space, animals, birds, flowers, transportation, buildings, sports, etc. We will appreciate if you send us your postcard in an envelope so that we could detach the stamp without damaging the card.

Special Thank You to those people who send us maxicards (the cards with matching stamps on the face side). We have started a new album for these cards only.

Another special Thank You to those of you who send us tea bags, stickers, magnets, and other little surprises that brighten our day even more.

Last year we started a new hobby, Gardening. We have planted asparagus, peas, cucumbers, tomatoes, and many different flowers. In case you share our hobby and have some extra seeds, we will be happy to plant them in our garden.
