About Elena...

My name is Lena. I'm from Pskov. It's the oldest city in the north-west of Russia.

In my free time I like listening to music, playing the piano, singing, reading books, watching black-and-white films. I adore theater and ballet.

Also, I'm fond of learning foreign languages and meeting new and interesting people from all over the world.

One of the things I enjoy doing most is writing letters. I sit down with a cup of tea and write down everything exciting that has happened to me. It is so special to have a box full of letters, and reading them back years later.
If you are looking for a pen friend you can send me a letter. I will be incredibly happy to correspond with you.

I work as an English teacher. And I do love my job!
By the way, did you like going to school or not? What was your favourite subject? Do you remember your first teacher?

I like cooking and baking very much! I like new tastes, new exotic meals. I really enjoy trying out different cuisines and collecting interesting recipes.

I love animals! They are my best friends!
Have you got a pet?

My greatest dream is to travel around the world! Yes, I want to visit every amazing place on earth.
And what's your dream? What are you keen on? What small things in life make you happy? What made you smile today? Please, write something about yourself or the place you live.

I will appreciate any postcard you send. But if you're a little bit puzzled, here are some ideas for you:
- landscapes, beautiful places or sights of your country/hometown
- worth seeing castles and fortresses of your country
- water (lake, river, sea, ocean, waterfall, rain)
- animals
- plants, flowers, trees
- food, recipes
- black and white cards
- books
- music, musical instruments
- the famous people (actors/actresses, musicians, writers, royal families)
- counted cross-stitch pattern
- knitting
- drawing
- romantic
- Christmas and New Year's cards are welcome all the year round
- fantasy (especially unicorns, dragons, pegasuses, elves, dwarves)
- movies/serials/cartoons

Could you send me your lovely card in an envelope, please?

Have a wonderful day.
And Happy Postcrossing!

P.S.If you are a foreign language learner too, we could teach each other our native languages by Skype . How do you find this idea? Just drop me a line, if you are interested in it!😊
