As a child I collected all postcards I could get. But I had to buy them because I did not want to wait for them. So I bought cards with animals, horses (as all girls would do ;-) ) and cats (my favorite animals ♥). And I bought cards from places where I have been because I did not own a cam. But all these cards were empty and, although nice to collect, nothing special.

One weekend in december I was writing christmas cards to some strangers, just for fun. And I thought: Hey, you should do this more often! So I decided to register for postcrossing and hope you'll enjoy the cards.

Something about myself:
I am a cat-loving program developer who reads a lot (if not sitting in front of a pc).I like those geek (or nerd) jokes, catcontent and nature photographies.
I am 32 years old and married to a wonderful husband. We have a little girl of 18 months and she is learning to speak now and - like a real girl - talks to us the whole day ;-) Perhaps you want to write something about your family?

I like fantasy (written and painted) the most, a bit sci-fi and (of course) love stories. I like abstract, artificial pictures or (girl like) romantic ones with some wise words. And I like Origami, although I never figured out what to do with the finished paper models...
Recently I discovered Zentangle and I really like it to see the pattern grow and the wonderful tangles of other people. So if you don't know what to write on the postcard, you can simply draw a Zentangle (or inspired art)on the card and I will appreciate it much!

Some short card preferences:
I like postcards
* handwritten (printed address is ok)
* with babies
* with autumn, winter or rain sceneries (anytime of the year)
* with fantasy figures (esp. elves, pixies or dragons)
* with animals (esp. birds and cats of all kind)
* with landscapes / nature (esp. mystical views)
* with funny pics
* with abstract or text designs
* from your place of living in a special / private view
* for special events (i.e. birthday, christmas etc.)
* selfmade (be creative! surprise me!)
* Greenpeace or WWF postcards
* any other ^^

NEW: I just received some CAMEL ad cards and decided to collect them because I liked the funny ads as a teenager. (No, I do not smoke ;-) )
