Hi, I am medically retired at 47 years old. I have been a chemist, nurse, and professional photographer. I raised 2 boys as a single Mom for 16 years and whom both are currently attending college. I was recently re-married on March 6, 2015 and we have 2 fat and fluffy Mainecoon cats. I have been in a wheelchair for about 3 years now but I never let it stop my adventures. Update: I am now out of my leg cast and learning to walk again. I'm eager to be out of the wheelchair for good. Just need a little more patience... I currently live in Columbus,OH, USA. There are about 2.5 million people currently living here. It was voted the fastest growing Tech city in the U.S. as well as the most drinking city in the U.S.. Columbus has around 100 craft beer and whisky distilleries locally. We have lots of festivals involving great drink, delicious food, and live music... I was born and raised in Charleston, WV. ( The mountain state) It's about 163 miles (262.3 KM) South of Columbus, OH, USA...

Any card you send me will be greatly appreciated. I understand that in some places it's difficult to get cards or even that some can't afford cards and stamps too. If this is your case, then no problem. Just make me one. I would be delighted that you cared enough to put the effort into it for me and I would be proud...For me, post crossing is about the people and where they live. Not so much about certain cards or stamps. I would rather embrace my new friendships around the world.

beach, sea shells, sailing ships, boats, photography & vintage cameras, painting/Art, comic books, heroes, Jack Daniels, craft made beers, Dr. Who, Star Wars, Star Trek, superheros, Avengers, Sherlock Holmes BBC, Anime, pin-ups, Alice in Wonderland, The wizard of Oz, Science, cards in different languages (other than English), sci-fy, waterfalls, Mountains, kawaii/cute, vintage post cards, Local Legends, glittered/shiney, homemade if you are good at making cards or if you can't afford to buy a card- Just make it interesting, Gothic, holidays, maps, and cool things in your own language other than English (and translated please).... I just love to receive post cards in the mail. It's fun and exciting to get them from all over the world.

Also if you would like to send something to me from where you live such as coins, trinkets, pub napkins or coasters or bottle labels, bus or subway passes/ tokens etc. You may do so by putting the card in an envelope with it. And I would love it!!
