Hello from Finland!

I live in Western Finland, in a small town Lavia (nearby Noormarkku and Kankaanpää).

I think postcrossing is a great way to get postcards and send them! I like to live in countryside, grow my own vegetables. I have a big garden where I love to spend time. I also like many kind of culture (music, concerts, theatres, operas..) and I'm a geocacher. I love to knit wool socks. If you google Anelmaiset, you will find my favourite model.

I have three children (all girls) and three grandchildren (a girl and two boys). When our girls left home I and my husband bought an old wooden house from countryside, beside a field. We have been repairing it for many years, and finally it seems that now we have time to relax and just live and enjoy. It's so wonderful to live near nature!

In the same time we moved to countryside, I've changed my life. I quit my job as Financial Manager, started to study a new profession, and now I work as Practical Nurse helping old people. I only work 50% of time because of my own choise. I have plenty of free time and I feel good. Money really does not mean everything, it's better to have good life.

Every postcard I get makes me happy! If you want to send me something special, please look at my favourites. They are postcards I don't have but that I very much like to have.

I don't much like traditional tourist cards, I prefere drawings. But...If you don´t have my favourite postcard, you do not have to worry. Just remember: all postcards are welcome, because the most important thing is that I'll receive a postcard just from You ♥
