I lived in a remote, rural village in Hong Kong when I was small. People there are simple and helpful. I really missed those days, as people are simple, and so are the things. Now, have moved to a busy district for study, but still keep a simple heart to challenges popping up every day. Love most humanity, like tradition, history, people, and friendship.

During my free time, love picking up a self-help language book or a dictionary to satisfy my curiosity toward languages. Language, extinct or existing, has been already part of my life. I am especially interested in Arabic, Persian, Tibetan, and Sanskrit. Please feel free to write to me in your own language, but with key word translation. In fact, it is interesting to see different handwriting styles. Quite romantic once you receive a card from an unknown, and tell who s/he is, from the handwriting.

I especially love cards with people. Only people can make a place unique. Am a student of architecture, but not really fancy crazy, modernist design. Instead, it is the users themselves who give the place identity, and make it alive and lively. Architecture, in turn, helps summarize and consolidate historical trait of human lives. So, people are unique, and then the places. I do not travel a lot, but I love to experience or hear stories about the hospitality of people in host countries.
