About Gracia...

I am a teacher of English at a Secondary School and I would like to teach my students how to write postcards and how to post them. I believe this is a very motivating project for them as they will also share cultural information with lots of countries all around the world! In the summer I will keep up writing myself. I love collecting cards and stamps.

Our town gets hundreds of Erasmus students, especially from the USA. Our university has got one of the nicest campus in Spain. It is on a perfect location if you need a peaceful life but it also offers you lively touristic places on the beach like Benidorm which are at a stone throw.

The cards we would โค๏ธ to receive are the following:

- famous singers or writers (with quotations even better!)
- landmarks of your town, country
- country or city map
- typical food, dishes from your country
- native sports or outdoor activity
- native animal or tree
- native festivals or festivities and costumes
- native people wearing traditional clothes
- folk tale characters
- literature characters
- funny cards with jokes and stereotypes
- cards with facts about your city, country
- proverbs (translate them into English please)
- comic characters

Please, tell us something about your card. If it is a character, we would like to know his/her name, why she is famous in your country, an anecdote about her... We would like to learn about your culture, your customs...You could suggest us that we read a book that you especially enjoy or that we visit your favourite place in your city, that we try one of your favourite dishes...

And we would also appreciate if you could write the date and what the weather is like that day ( a symbol ๐ŸŒฆ๐ŸŒž๐ŸŒฉโ›„๏ธโ˜”๏ธ and degrees Celsius).

My students and I WOULD NOT LIKE to receive any cards with sexual content!!! And we prefer getting stamped postcards, that is, without an envelope.

We are looking forward to getting your cards and sending ours ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ“ฎ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“ง๐Ÿ”œโœˆ๏ธ
