Hey there,

my name is Sam, I am 30-something and I live in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

It is not a very pretty city but I was born here and after 10 years of living in the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands and some cities all over Germany, I just realized that home is where the heart is. And my heart belongs to this ridiculously ugly city called Mönchengladbach where people are loud and have their hearts in the right place :)

I live here with my pretty awesome husband, our two little daughters.

Hanging out on Social Media is what pays my rent because I am a Freelance Social Media Manager (or Internet Wizard - that's at least what my clients think I am) where I work for sustainable businesses and charities. A job that really fulfils me every day.

I have been a member of Postcrossing for many, many years and I like how it is a constant in my life. From time to time I get online and send some cards here and there. I really loooove the excitement that grabs me when I open my mailbox and there is a postcard from a total stranger in there who took the time and effort to write to me.
