About Catherine...

Greetings from Russia!

My name is Catherine. I live in a small town in Russia. I am a third-year student of the English department. I also study German, but my German is still quite poor :(

My hobbies are reading, swimming, cooking and playing computer games. I fond of Russian, German and English classical literature, but I like modern fantasy as well. I also like interesting films and serials such as "V for Vendetta", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door", "What Dreams May Come", "Dexter", "Supernatural", "True Blood" e.t.c. Besides, I like anime ^^ I listen to different music - most of all I like rock and K-pop (TVXQ,JYJ, BTOB, BigBang, 2NE1 e.t.c) :))
I am also just a beginner at postcrossing :)

Some ideas about what to write in your postcard:
- anything interesting about your country or traditions
-your daily life
- interesting recipes, I like to taste traditional dishes of different countries
- favourite quotations and songs are also welcome :)

I don't have a scanner, so I'll be really thankful if you can attach an image of your postcard :)

I'd like to receive postcards with:

-nature
-flowers
-landscapes
-points of interest of your country
-oriental themes (geishas, samurais, ikebana, illustrations, origami, dolls, food e.t.c )
-animals (dogs, owls, cats and, especially, foxes, I love them so-o much)
-birds
-food (especially sweets :) )
-fairy-tale characters (witches, vampires, werewolves, fairies)
-anime (I like landscapes and characters very much, especially something like the works by Hayao Miyazaki. I fond of Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away and Totoro ^^)
-Jetoy Cats
-books
-vintage style
-letters and mail boxes
-funny stuff
-angry birds
-fashion
-just some nice bright postcards with anything you like :) It's only a wish-list. Feel free to send everything to your taste, but I don't like hand-made postcards which are made of soft cardboard as they are usually delivered shabby or damaged ('hard' postcards are ok), sorry. You can also look through my favourites :) http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Samaelle/gallery/favourites

I'm looking forward to your gorgeous postcards!

Catherine
