About Jan...

Hello everybody!

I'm Jan from Germany. I'm 34 years old and I'm an electronics engineer.

My hobbies are cars, collecting and restoring old things, dancing and post write ;-)
Otherwise, I'm a little bit different. ;-) Although I'm only 30, but I always wear a hat (no baseball cap or so, a real old style hat) and I am an enthusiastic tobacco pipe smoking and I have a large collection of pipes.

I like all cards, whether bought or handmade, whether new or old.
But here aure some of my favorite motives:

* pipes
* hats
* old and new cars
* Whisk(e)y
* old stuff / retro / vintage
* dancing
* Lord of the Rings / Hobbit
* H.P. Lovecraft / Cthulhu
* Steampunk
* Mary Poppins
* coffee / tea
* Albert Einstein (maybe with his pipe) :-)
* MC Escher
* Sherlok Holmes (also maybe with his pipe) :-)
* city views / night views / multi and single views
* pin up girls or maybe erotic art, especially historic, vintage or black and white erotic art
* TV series for children or adults, new or old. for example:
.....The Big Bang Theorie
.....How I met your mother
.....Two and a half men
.....The Simpsons
.....American Dad
.....Familie Guy
.....Pippi Langstrumpf (Pippi Långstrump)
.....Mumins
.....Die Sendung mit der Maus
.....Snoopy and the Peanuts
.....or something from your country
* celebration cards (for example christmas or a special day in your country or culture)
* books
* castles
* bridges
* forests / nature
* all funny cards
* ...
* ...
* ...

Please write me some nice stuff on your card, maybe something about you, about your city or country, or why you just picked this card.

And an envelope can be made beautiful outside with stickers or stamps or drawings and you have more space to write inside. ;-)

It would be great, if you send in it a small coin, a used bus ticket, a bag of tea or sugar from your favorite cafe or another nice small surprise. ;-)

I'm sorry, but my English is not very good, but it gets better with each card in English!

Happy Postcrossing!
And have fun writing!
