My name is Renae, and my Chinese name is Sze Ming (思敏).

I live in not-always-so-sunny Singapore. Often we get periods of blistering heat before the clouds unload themselves upon us.

I'm a graduate researcher focusing on social issues, education and media literacy.
I would love to read about your culture and your communication practices. Are there any social issues you think are very pressing in your country or town?

In my free time, I love to read.
My favourite books are The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and The Ballad of Sir Benfro series by James Oswald. And of course, the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R. R. Martin. Tyrells FTW.

Disney! I'm utterly and helplessly in love Disney. My favourite animated films are, "The Lion King", "Beauty and the Beast", "Mulan" and "Tangled".
I love Disneyland. I completely lose myself in there, running around like a little kid, darting in and out of shops with a silly grin plastered on my face. Pure bliss, if you ask me!

I'm also a fan of Marvel, DC Comics and Transformers.
My favourite characters... well, all of them, really! I'm very drawn to Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Storm, Rouge, Wolverine, Kitty Pryde and Mystique.

I love Broadway musicals, in fact my favourite production is "The Lion King Musical" and it was a dream come true when I caught it at Marina Bay Sands Theatre in Singapore. Cards showcasing anything related to such media, even if it's an ad-card, why not! Send it my way!

I love animals. All animals! I welcome fairies, nymphs, even Pokemon and the like.

I'm also deeply fascinated by anything astronomy related. I love learning about formations of galaxies, planets, stars, and so on.
