I live in Penang Island where George Town is a UNESCO World Heritage city. I enjoy travelling, buying nice postcards and cool stamps and sending and receiving postcards worldwide.
I started my postcard hobby in earnest in 2006 and joined Postcrossing in 2007. Todate I have postcards written stamped from almost every country except South Sudan, South Ossettia, Equatorial Guinea, Tokelau.
Malaysia is an interesting country for postcard collectors. There are 13 States and 3 Federal Territories in Malaysia where 9 States have Kings. There are many Muslim mosques, Buddhist temples, Christian churches and Hindu temples all over. Many different ethnic groups like Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, Kadazan, etc. Wildlife includes orangutan, proboscis monkey, tapir, tiger, elephants, mousedeer.
Overall, I have these main blogs
1) Main postcard blog, various themes and cards for trading
2) Additional postcards with different states of some countries
3) UNESCO World Heritage postcards
4) UNESCO Tentative List postcards
5) UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage
and a stamp blog
6) Malaysia stamps and others
For non-postcards, I hope to collect one from each country
