About Sridhar...

I am a retired Govt. Officer settled at Hubli, aka Hubballi in Karnataka(a southern state of India). One interesting fact about my city is that all the Indian National Flags you see anywhere in the world are fabricated only in my city, by Khadi Gramodyog (Indian Handloom Industry, a brain child of Mahatma Gandhi). It is the second largest city of Karnataka (Bengaluru being its capital and largest) and is a big trading centre for cotton, textiles & red chillies.

I am an avid bird enthusiast & bird/nature photography is my favorite pastime. I am a member of birdforum.net, a website of international birders and also nationalgeographic.com. I would love to get cards with photos of exotic/rare birds, wild animals, landscapes, old heritage/UNESCO monuments of historical importance, artifacts, culture, paintings or nature of your country and funny cards. I would also look forward to cards of vintage sail ships/warships. Please do not send nude, gay or erotic cards. Otherwise, I will appreciate any card sent by you that you find interesting.

Also, it would please me if you could send the cards in an envelope with a minimum currency coin and/or note of your country, if possible. If you are interested in swapping, I will certainly reciprocate your gesture. Don't forget to write your adress if you want to swap. Lastly, please endorse the date on your card. Thank you.

It would be my endeavour to send you post card with a photo that would most probably have been shot by me, if you requested a card within the scope of my hobby & it would have my name/bird photography water mark on it. Else, I will try to send you the type card you wish to have or something that comes close to it.

"The only treasure of the life we leave
Is in the measure of the love we give."

Six expired cards at last count.
