About Rūta...

Sveiki visi! Hello everyone! I'm Rūta from Lithuania. If you haven't heard or not sure there my country is, check this video out -
I live in Kaunas, but I'm from the north of Lithuania originally. I love travelling through places, movies, books, recipes, and, of course, postcards. :) My favourite TV show is Grey's anatomy, but I like The Big Bang theory, How I met Your Mother, This is us and etc. You can always recommend the movie, the Tv-show to watch or the book to read or the recipe to cook. :) You can recommend series of postcards to collect as well. ;) I also love swimming and being in the water.

I am very grateful to receive any postcard you send, but like most people I have some favorites that I enjoy receiving (yes, I find :)).
I’m listing some below:
Only painted animals, especially cats (cats breeds from, Rina Zeniuk, Irina Garmashova);
The Little Prince;
Famous people from your country or maybe the people, who inspires you;
Winnie pooh;
3D cards;
Grey's anatomy (the best tv show!);
Quotes on the cards (inspiring, optimistic, black humor, but not too dark :D);
Nouvelles/multiples images;
UNESCO World Heritage;
Food (traditional, national, desserts) and drinks;
Recipe cards;
Greetings from... (I already have Finland, Germany, Turkey, Ireland, Montenegro, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Belarus, Latvia, Belgium, France, Ukraine, Singapore, Austria, Japan, Malta);
Cards from "Women in Science: 100 Postcards set" (I already have K.Horney; N.Stevens, Hypatia, R. Levi-Montalcini, Lillian Gilbreth, Barbara Mcclintock, E. Lederberg, M. Mirzakhani, F. Bascom, A. Ball, G. Hopper, K. Krafft; S. Lan Wu, E. Noether);
Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 50 Postcards;
Birthday cards in December, in the end of November;
Sagittarius cards (zodiac sign);
Season cards (Christmas, Easter, New Year);
Cards from official meetings of Postcrossing community;
Something traditional from your country, but I'm not a fan of typical touristic cards. :)

Don't worry, if you only have touristic postcards, write the message from your heart and I'm gonna love it. ;)

Painted postcards are more precious than photos. :) I prefer that you send only good vibes and energy and write something more in your postcard than just "happy postcrossing". I enjoy reading your postcards. :) I like beautiful stamps as well (my husband Arnas collects stamps). :) We are happily married since 2020.09.12 :)
Thank you so much for reading my profile, can't wait to receive your postcard and wish you a happy day. :)
P.s. Sorry, but I won't register the card I've not received. Thanks for understanding! :)
