Hi my name is Roxy and I live just outside a small village in Suffolk.

I have a river that runs through my garden and a multitude of birdlife that come to visit including pheasants, ducks, quails, moorhens, sparrow hawks, geese, swans and sometimes a Kingfisher.

During the summer I do viking reenactment showing a display of leatherwork and nalbinding. This is the yarn skill that was done befire crochet and knitting was invented. You use a bone, wooden or horn needle and intricate knots around your thumb to create the fabric.

During lockdown I have been making many many nalbound hats! They are filling up my house！

I'm very interested in travel, so tell me about an interesting fact about where you live. Or where you have been,or hope to go once we can roam the world again.

I have been learning Japanese, however I'm bad and not been keeping up with my studying!

I need to start again as we hope to go to Japan on our honeymoon once Covid let's us have our wedding!
