Hi! My name is Maryrose and I live in Australia! I’m from a town in South East Queensland called Toowoomba - we are called the “Garden City” and are known for the annual Carnival of Flowers held each year in September. Many of our parks and gardens are decorated by planting different varieties of flowers.
I’m 24, nearly 25 years old and I currently work in a nursing home looking after the elderly.
This year I’ve started my Bachelor of Nursing at university and I am in my third semester. Once I graduate it is my goal to travel and see the world as a nurse.
My hobbies include crocheting, and gardening (I know, I sound like a grandma). I have also started dabbling in cross stitching.
I am an absolute Harry Potter nerd, I love all things Disney and am a massive book worm. Feel free to recommend to me your favourite book or book series.
I’d love to travel the world one day as I have never left Australia and what better way to do it than receiving post cards from around the world - tell me something interesting about where you live, what your hometown is like, what your favourite food is, what sort of traditions or customs you have, where are the best places to go where you live etc. I love learning about different countries and the culture associated with them.
I would love to receive any and all post cards you have, but I especially would love to receive cards that are Harry Potter, Disney, plant, nature or book inspired.
